A gentle, beautiful riverside fauna walk with mostly flat trail including a few easy steps up towards to a rock plateau and then back down to the main track.

Followed by an easy down hill walk and crossing a small creek near the end.

Finish the experience peacefully with Japanese Tea and snacks which is inspired by the concept and philosophy of the traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony.

Access :

By Car : 30 min drive from Sydney city

By Train  : 25 min from Central Station to Chatswood Station

By Bus  :  Take 259 (Macquarie Centre) from Chatswood, then get off at Delhi Rd at River Ave.

15 min walk to the Cottonwood Glen picnic area from the park entrance.

What to bring/wear :

* Water

* Hat

* Sunscreen

* Memo pad & pen (for a nature journal)

* Good hiking/walking shoes

* Long sleeve shirts/trousers
