Mayu carefully chose experiences that would give us an opportunity to dive a little deeper than the average tourist. The food everywhere was exceptional, which also helps in gaining a cultural understanding. The visits to shrines and temples, with an explanation of the spiritual practices, was really helpful, and as these were also located in beautiful forests, it helped us appreciate the connection to nature and beauty.

It was a beautiful forest with those ancient trees, and there was something special about being the birthplace of shinrin- yoku.

There are so many things to say here. Every day was so special in it's own way. For me I really loved not only the immersion into the forests and beautiful landscapes, but deeply immersing into the Japanese culture through its people, customs, food and unique architecture. I'm a changed women!

Thank you for such a memorable experience. Forever etched in my being!

It was an awesome tour and a great way to get back into travelling after the disruption of covid the last few years. We were fully immersed in genuine Japanese culture and nature.

the highlights were forest bathing in Akasawa Forest, experiencing the ancient moss forest, staying overnight at the lakeside lodge and completing the lake walk, the ride up the mountain and alpine walk and staying in traditional Japanese hotels with incredible Japanese food and experiencing some traditional Entertainment.
